Scooter FAQ
i have a electric scooter im not sure what brand it is but it has a hand brake and air filled wheel, the batteries in it are worn out and i dont really want to buy the big battries they take so i was wondering if i can put a chainsaw engine on it. i kno that i have to bolt it down and everything, i took the old motor out. alot of the sites i look at say get a PUSH scooter with inflatable tires and a hand brake but is it the same and everything for a electric scooter without the batteries, motor, computer, etc?
so my electric scooter kinda got a burnt wire and the isolation burnt of it. if i wrap electric tape around the wire will it work.
I have a schwinn electric scooter that i've had for a while now. But see my brake won't work anymore. What could be wrong? and how much would it usually cost to repair this malfunctioning brake?
i have a electric scooter and it has a metal frame, and air filled wheels which from what i looked at is what i need. i have a 25 cc weed wacker engine and planing on putting it on the scooter. what i need help with is how do i find a centrifugal clutch for it? and also how should i mount the engine to the scooter? step by step instructions would help a lot for mounting the engine, thanks.
my right leg is paralyised and the doctors aren't really sure why. I have been using forearm crutches for the past 4 months and do quite well. but I also get tired like any human being. I am only 18. I have lots of upperbody strength because of my history as a competive swimmer. I am getting a electric scooter for longer trips (as I am very active) but I'd also like a wheelchair that I can use for shorter trips to stay active without using my legs. I have been shopping on craigslist and I have found a chair in my area for the price I am will to pay, it has everything I need, the only issue is it has a 16" seat. I know 18 is normal. I am a little on the larger side because of hormone inbalances. but I am a shorter person only 5'2. I have measured a 17in peice of paper and can sit on that confortably. my basic question is this. Do you think I can get away with a 16" seat confortably? thanks
